Spectators: 9101 (Terracing: 6918, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 183) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramiz Shkurti started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Adriatik Dragoj put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rinus Kauffeld. The supporters of Berat FK booed when Golden Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erin Topi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rinus Kauffeld came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Berat FK's Adriatik Dragoj. But to his dismay, Adriatik Dragoj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16thth minute of the game Adriatik Dragoj who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Team's Rinus Kauffeld was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rinus Kauffeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shkumbin Kalia in the 23rd minute of the match. Maciej Wielgopolski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Adriatik Dragoj left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berat FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Berat FK's Tosun Ndoja proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Berat FK from getting a goal against them. After 35 minutes Berat FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Faton Çorbaxhiu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Faton Çorbaxhiu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tosun Ndoja quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 37th minute Adriatik Dragoj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rinus Kauffeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Adriatik Dragoj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berat FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriatik Dragoj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Gersi Jashari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Rinus Kauffeld was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Golden Team's zone, Renato Behrami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rinus Kauffeld came out of the goal and Renato Behrami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Maciej Wielgopolski made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Ramiz Shkurti took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Rinus Kauffeld to make any attempt to save it. Rinus Kauffeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Behrami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Berat FK's Gersi Jashari slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rinus Kauffeld. That made the score 0-7 after 57 minutes of play. Rinus Kauffeld stood somewhat misplaced when Ramiz Shkurti came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 60 minute. Rinus Kauffeld was a little too slow when Shkumbin Kalia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gersi Jashari in the 66th minute of play forced Golden Team's goalkeeper Rinus Kauffeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute of the match, Renato Behrami got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rinus Kauffeld was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 69 minutes, Ramiz Shkurti made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Golden Team's Rinus Kauffeld tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Shkumbin Kalia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berat FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. After some careless play in the Golden Team defense, Ramiz Shkurti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rinus Kauffeld. The Golden Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rinus Kauffeld should have stopped the shot. Nebi Naço was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes Berat FK got a freekick which was hit by Nebi Naço. Sabit Kolaci didn't quite understand what happened when in the 90 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.
