When Micheal Lodge came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Peretol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Micheal Lodge couldn't finish the play. If Mathias Hammarberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute, Westcliff on Sea's Teobald Gacki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Louis Hislop's late challenge caught a Westcliff on Sea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Louis Hislop helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Peretol FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Louis Hislop hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Seth Bass shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amri Solihin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Stan Bartlett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Oliver Butcher kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Mathias Hammarberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westcliff on Sea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Hammarberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Teobald Gacki fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jasper Hampton, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stan Bartlett in the 47th minute of play forced Westcliff on Sea's goalkeeper Amri Solihin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mathias Hammarberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Westcliff on Sea's Darryl Ansell got a free kick in the 59th minute. Mathias Hammarberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasper Hampton having to interfere. Oliver Butcher hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Mathias Hammarberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Westcliff on Sea's Teobald Gacki in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peretol FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 74th match minute, Peretol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Husband to maneuver through the defense. Amri Solihin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stan Bartlett showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 82 minute of play. Jasper Hampton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobald Gacki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Higinio Iliana kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Seth Bass struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Amri Solihin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peretol FC. Westcliff on Sea were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peretol FC for a fine match.
