Spectators: 8029 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1979, VIP seats: 50) FC Lauredià's Hayden Millman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pierre Blowman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayden Millman in the 4th minute of the match. FC Lauredià were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Quilmes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bob Newlyn took the corner. Bob Newlyn made a great header on FC Lauredià's corner, it was just that Quilmes's Pierre Blowman managed to reach the ball for a save. A hard shot by Derek Hopker from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Gordon Bramhall's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Quilmes's Kasey Cross got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Dylan Chapman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayden Millman in the 14th minute of play forced Quilmes's goalkeeper Pierre Blowman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre Blowman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayden Millman in the 17th minute of the match. Pierre Blowman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayden Millman in the 22nd minute of play. Hayden Millman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Pierre Blowman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kasey Cross got free with Gordon Bramhall in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, FC Lauredià's goalkeeper Gordon Bramhall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stuart Boxall. After 31 minutes, Phillip Ball mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Lauredià and the Quilmes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes FC Lauredià got a freekick which was hit by Phillip Ball. Gordon Bramhall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dom Hickson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Kasey Cross blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gordon Bramhall having to make a save. 35 minutes in the game, Dom Hickson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gordon Bramhall having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Kasey Cross cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gordon Bramhall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Phillip Ball kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When Dom Hickson came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Quilmes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dom Hickson couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stuart Boxall to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Lauredià's Gordon Bramhall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasey Cross in the 52nd minute of play. Hayden Millman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierre Blowman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Stuart Boxall charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stuart Boxall the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 72 minutes into the match, FC Lauredià's goal looked a bit too open when Bart Smart came free, but Gordon Bramhall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Couzens hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Kasey Cross fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gordon Bramhall having to interfere. If Kasey Cross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Stuart Boxall came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Quilmes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stuart Boxall couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lauredià's zone, Dom Hickson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gordon Bramhall came out of the goal and Dom Hickson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the FC Lauredià defense, Dom Hickson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gordon Bramhall. The FC Lauredià fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gordon Bramhall should have stopped the shot. The corner led Quilmes's Timothy Oates to fire away a dangerous shot which Gordon Bramhall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Quilmes fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Lauredià had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
