Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hayden Millman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. FC Lauredià's Gordon Bramhall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curtis Tomkins in the 3rd minute of play. Dylan Chapman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hayden Millman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylan Chapman in the 22nd minute of play forced Culcheth's goalkeeper Damion Howard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Lauredià's Hayden Millman got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damion Howard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Chapman, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Culcheth's Damion Howard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylan Chapman in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Craig Harrison got free with Gordon Bramhall in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th match minute, FC Lauredià was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayden Millman to maneuver through the defense. Culcheth's Garth Castledine got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dylan Chapman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dylan Chapman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylan Chapman scored 0-1 in the 49th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damion Howard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Garth Castledine was the one to do the kick off. Damion Howard made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Dylan Chapman sent off a good shot on target. Hayden Millman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 66th minute Garth Castledine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Bramhall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garth Castledine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gordon Bramhall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garth Castledine's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Culcheth:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Lauredià:s goal. The referee gave FC Lauredià a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bob Newlyn, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Culcheth's Damion Howard. 1-2. Culcheth's Craig Harrison got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Lauredià's Gordon Bramhall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Castledine in the 87th minute of play. If Garth Castledine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, FC Lauredià's Damion Howard threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hayden Millman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hayden Millman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damion Howard having to interfere. The FC Lauredià players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
