In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Massana's goalkeeper Luke Hurst, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Andy Ingham came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Wheaton Aston City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Ingham couldn't finish the play. Curtis Pitt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Luke Hurst made a huge save. Curtis Pitt struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Luke Hurst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wheaton Aston City. When the match was over Wheaton Aston City could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Massana throughout the match.
