Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jo Higginson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Trevor Forster 4 minutes into the match. Martin Osbourne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Trevor Forster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Osbourne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 18 minutes, Rupert Jefferson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CUX United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rupert Jefferson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivor Connell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Myers having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, CUX United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micheal Carpenter to maneuver through the defense. Martin Osbourne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Trevor Forster made a huge save. After 31 played minutes Fnatic FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Davies. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Osbourne got free with Trevor Forster in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trevor Forster made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Martin Osbourne sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rob Froggatt to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, CUX United's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Froggatt came free, but Jonny Myers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Osbourne in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trevor Forster saved Fnatic FC from getting behind. When CUX United's Martin Osbourne in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fnatic FC's goalie prevented a goal. Trevor Forster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Osbourne in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Felix Hallam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 72 minutes, Rupert Jefferson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CUX United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rupert Jefferson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Trevor Forster stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Osbourne's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Martin Osbourne took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trevor Forster. Trevor Forster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Fnatic FC's zone, Martin Osbourne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trevor Forster came out of the goal and Martin Osbourne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rupert Jefferson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Trevor Forster having to make a save. Fnatic FC's Trevor Forster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Osbourne in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the CUX United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
