Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Martin Osbourne made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerry Britton in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonny Myers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonny Myers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Dewhirst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bromyard's Don Martinez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Jefferson in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bromyard's goalkeeper Don Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reg Hughes made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Donny Grantham however managed to control. After 17 played minutes CUX United got a freekick which was hit by Andre Hornsby. If Jerry Britton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, CUX United's Micheal Carpenter got a free kick in the 21st minute. Donny Grantham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonny Myers having to interfere. Laurence Dewhirst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jonny Myers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Don Martinez managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when CUX United's Martin Osbourne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bromyard's Don Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Bromyard from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Jerry Britton made the kick off in the second half. If Martin Osbourne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bromyard getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Daryl Mowlem hit a great ball. Laurence Dewhirst hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. When CUX United's Rupert Jefferson in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bromyard's goalie prevented a goal. If Martin Osbourne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Martin Osbourne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Don Martinez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martin Osbourne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Don Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dave Cousins kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. When Rupert Jefferson came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the CUX United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rupert Jefferson couldn't finish the play. A collision led to CUX United getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Andre Hornsby hit a great ball.
