Darryl Titmus lost his temper 30 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 30 minutes into the game, one of Budleigh Salterton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joe Marshall scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Trevor Forster, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Stephen Moyse's late challenge caught a Fnatic FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stephen Moyse helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Budleigh Salterton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephen Moyse to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rob Froggatt in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alan Simms saved Budleigh Salterton from getting behind.
