It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 9th minute, but Jonny Myers got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving CUX United hanging dry this time. In the 11th minute, Fitz Kent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind CUX United's goalkeeper Jonny Myers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FS LA MASSANA's Eddie Holyfield got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Osbourne in the 18th minute of play forced FS LA MASSANA's goalkeeper Jimmy Fawcett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match, Fitz Kent got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonny Myers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, CUX United's Jonny Myers got control of the ball when Stu Godsall tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience held their breath when Andre Hornsby in the 25th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jimmy Fawcett's left hand side. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind FS LA MASSANA's goalkeeper Jimmy Fawcett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, FS LA MASSANA's goal looked a bit too open when Jo Higginson came free, but Jimmy Fawcett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as FS LA MASSANA's Zackary Stone slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonny Myers. That made the score 1-0 after 34 minutes of play. If Martin Osbourne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, CUX United's Jonny Myers got control of the ball when Fitz Kent tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fitz Kent's late challenge caught a CUX United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fitz Kent helped the player get up and apologised. Fitz Kent kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 61st minute, Zackary Stone left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FS LA MASSANA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jonny Myers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zackary Stone in the 64th minute of the match. FS LA MASSANA's Jimmy Fawcett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FS LA MASSANA from getting a goal against them. Zackary Stone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jonny Myers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimmy Fawcett came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by CUX United's Martin Osbourne. But to his dismay, Martin Osbourne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After having played for 78 minutes, Martin Osbourne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CUX United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Osbourne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the game, Damon Oakes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FS LA MASSANA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CUX United the free kick. A collision led to FS LA MASSANA getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Damon Oakes hit a great ball. After some careless play in the CUX United defense, Stu Godsall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonny Myers. The CUX United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonny Myers should have stopped the shot. Fitz Kent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Martin Osbourne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmy Fawcett was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. If Martin Osbourne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FS LA MASSANA had won after a very even match.
