Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Zane Beerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronan Titmus, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Jonny Bateman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ron Briant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zane Beerman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ray Hales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 17 minutes, Ray Hales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lancing AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ray Hales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pierce Armstrong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Zane Beerman made a huge save. Fitz Gray's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Zane Beerman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 29 minutes into the match, Pic Negre's goal looked a bit too open when Fitz Gray came free, but Zane Beerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonny Bateman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronan Titmus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zane Beerman came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronan Titmus slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. If Pierce Armstrong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pierce Armstrong hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ray Hales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zane Beerman having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ray Hales made a kick off. Pierce Armstrong scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zane Beerman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. James Bakewell's late challenge caught a Lancing AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. James Bakewell helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pic Negre! Sonny Haskell shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 63 minutes into the game, Ray Hales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Zane Beerman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute Pierce Armstrong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zane Beerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pic Negre's zone, Ray Hales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zane Beerman came out of the goal and Ray Hales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pierce Armstrong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zane Beerman having to make a save. Zane Beerman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierce Armstrong's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Ray Hales scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zane Beerman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute Pierce Armstrong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zane Beerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 played minutes Pic Negre got a freekick which was hit by Gavin Eyre. In the 97th minute Ray Hales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zane Beerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matty Venables during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 98th minute, Matty Venables hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierce Armstrong in the 99th minute of play forced Pic Negre's goalkeeper Zane Beerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
