In the 69th minute, Johnnie Worth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner led Skipton's Kyle Ashton to fire away a dangerous shot which Jermaine Laycock despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Patrick Marston came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Skipton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Marston couldn't finish the play. Jermaine Laycock came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Skipton's Rory Strickland. But to his dismay, Rory Strickland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Fred Greenwood's late challenge caught a Skipton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Greenwood helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes Santa Coloma FC got a freekick which was hit by Fred Greenwood. Johnnie Worth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jermaine Laycock having to interfere. There was no doubt that Skipton were the better team. Skipton's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
