After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Gus Simms managed to get in a good position for a shot. BCV Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Gus Simms was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Scott Holbrook breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ged Taylor came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the BCV Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ged Taylor couldn't finish the play. When Alastair Lockwood fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bow AFC's protests and gave Alastair Lockwood a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Bow AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alastair Lockwood to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Bow AFC's Scott Holbrook got control of the ball when Matthew Salt tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Bourne to strike the kick off in the second half. The BCV Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0.
