Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) In the 3rd match minute, Falcons FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Hart to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Morpeth's Warren Ford got control of the ball when Donald Godfrey tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 7 minutes, Lance Norfolk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morpeth and the Falcons FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 7 minutes into the game, one of Morpeth:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Morpeth's Warren Ford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verne Barr in the 16th minute of play. Verne Barr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Warren Ford having to make a save. Verne Barr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Warren Ford made a huge save. When Morpeth's Ross Townsend in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Falcons FC's goalie prevented a goal. Warren Ford came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Falcons FC's Verne Barr. But to his dismay, Verne Barr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 29 minutes, Jay Power mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Falcons FC and the Morpeth players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Falcons FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Morpeth:s goal. After a rather tough play, Morpeth's John Beaver got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Warren Ford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giles Branson in the 35th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Falcons FC got a freekick which was hit by Giles Branson. Verne Barrs short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Warren Ford to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Verne Barr came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Falcons FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Verne Barr couldn't finish the play. After 42 played minutes Falcons FC got a freekick which was hit by Jay Power. After 47 minutes of play, Falcons FC's Verne Barr made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Warren Ford was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Verne Barr to make the kick off. After 59 played minutes Falcons FC got a freekick which was hit by Verne Barr. Donald Godfrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Verne Barr might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Warren Ford. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Verne Barr ran back to his position shaking his head. Falcons FC's Verne Barr got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Morpeth's Warren Ford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verne Barr in the 66th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Giles Branson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Warren Ford. Morpeth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giles Branson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brandon Lonsdale during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Brandon Lonsdale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Denham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ross Townsend in the 79th minute of the match. Verne Barr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Warren Ford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Verne Barr put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Warren Ford. When Giles Branson came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Falcons FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giles Branson couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute Donald Godfrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Warren Ford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Falcons FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
