Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Todd Deveraux started the match with the kick off. Darryl Knowles kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Kristopher Busby made a precise shot to the right of Scott Hodges. MISCO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristopher Busby in the 11th minute of play forced MISCO FC's goalkeeper Scott Hodges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Den Cryer came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by MISCO FC's Shaun Tyrell. But to his dismay, Shaun Tyrell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. MISCO FC's Paul Downton got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute Paul Downton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Den Cryer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Shaun Tyrell sped through Hanworth's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Den Cryer. Gus Seagrave hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Paul Downton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Den Cryer having to interfere. Paul Downton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Todd Deveraux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Den Cryer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Downton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Den Cryer having to interfere. If Shaun Tyrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Den Cryer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shaun Tyrell in the 42nd minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Gus Seagrave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in MISCO FC's zone, Alfred Beesley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Scott Hodges came out of the goal and Alfred Beesley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Den Cryer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Downton in the 55th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Glenn Best had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Scott Hodges. MISCO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Glenn Best was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After some careless play in the MISCO FC defense, Rick Bayliff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Scott Hodges. The MISCO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Scott Hodges should have stopped the shot. Den Cryer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Deveraux in the 74th minute of the match. Shaun Tyrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Kristopher Busby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Scott Hodges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes, Shaun Tyrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MISCO FC and the Hanworth players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, MISCO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shaun Tyrell to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glenn Best in the 87th minute of play forced MISCO FC's goalkeeper Scott Hodges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the MISCO FC defense, Alfred Beesley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Scott Hodges. The MISCO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Scott Hodges should have stopped the shot. MISCO FC's Shaun Tyrell got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Shaun Tyrell off the ground. Shaun Tyrell hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes of play, Hanworth's Alfred Beesley made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Scott Hodges was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hanworth were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MISCO FC for a fine match.
