Carpathia's Colin Colt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Deveraux in the 10th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Koos Lemmen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Scott Hodges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Les Deighton, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Colin Colt made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Paul Downton sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Les Deighton in the 22nd minute of play forced MISCO FC's goalkeeper Scott Hodges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Rotherfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Scott Hodges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Carpathia got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Rotherfield. The supporters of MISCO FC booed when Carpathia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koos Lemmen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adam Sewell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, Carpathia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Les Deighton to maneuver through the defense.

In the 51st minute, Cody Bean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Steve Wootton threw the ball into play from the sideline. Carpathia's Daniel Rotherfield quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Deveraux in the 75th minute of play forced Carpathia's goalkeeper Colin Colt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 79 minutes on the clock, Clive Galloway commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carpathia! If Paul Downton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Carpathia booed when MISCO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shaun Tyrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carpathia's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because MISCO FC had won, even though Carpathia had held more of the ball.
