Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Swallow made the kick off and thus started the match. Ged Deacon came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Bromley United's Marc Davenport. But to his dismay, Marc Davenport quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 6th match minute, Bromley United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlton Vaughn to maneuver through the defense. When Gedling United's Daniel Swallow in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bromley United's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Swallow was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 9th minute. Gedling United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 11 minutes into the match, Marc Davenport notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gedling United's Ged Deacon. Ged Deacon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute, Jimmy Searle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ged Deacon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Steve Avery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ged Deacon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Bromley United's Marc Davenport fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Steve Avery might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ged Deacon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Steve Avery ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, Bromley United's goalkeeper 尤博阳 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Larry Lawton. 尤博阳 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clive Kidd in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Clive Kidd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gedling United's supporters rose to their feet, but Clive Kidd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 尤博阳 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tod Ellerby fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bromley United's protests and gave Tod Ellerby a yellow card for diving instead. Pete Hooker kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Marc Davenport had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Bromley United were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marc Davenport made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Swallow in the 51st minute of play forced Bromley United's goalkeeper 尤博阳 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Steve Avery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Daniel Swallow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute of the match Austen North shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ged Deacon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Gedling United's Clive Kidd sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 尤博阳 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Davenport in the 75th minute of play forced Gedling United's goalkeeper Ged Deacon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Gedling United's Ged Deacon got control of the ball when Steve Avery tried to sneak it across the goal line. 尤博阳 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Swallow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Swallow struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. 尤博阳 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gedling United. Clive Kidd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. 尤博阳 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Steve Avery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ged Deacon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Davenport in the 93rd minute of the match. Vincent Moyle's late challenge caught a Bromley United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vincent Moyle helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gedling United getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Vincent Moyle hit a great ball.
