Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arkadiy Lutkov kicked off to start the match. Allan Law hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Karl Blakewell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ged Deacon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16thth minute of the game Karl Blakewell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gedling United's Ged Deacon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Daniel Swallow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dunmow's 鲁远凌 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Dunmow:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gedling United:s goal. When the match had been going on for 25 minutes, Gedling United's Pete Hooker got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of 鲁远凌. Ged Deacon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Grabski, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Gabriel Paulista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dunmow fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Larry Lawton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 鲁远凌. That made the score 2-1 in the 34 minute of play. Dunmow's Julian Grabski got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Julian Grabski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Grabski took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ged Deacon. Ged Deacon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Swallow stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, Dunmow's Gabriel Paulista made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ged Deacon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dunmow's 鲁远凌 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Swallow in the 61st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Dunmow's Ged Deacon threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Grabski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gedling United's Pete Hooker took a good shot, in the 66th minute, which hit the crossbar above 鲁远凌's head, and flew over the goal. Dunmow's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Gedling United. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Grabski in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ged Deacon saved Gedling United from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Dunmow's Ged Deacon threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Grabski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Law in the 75th minute of play forced Dunmow's goalkeeper 鲁远凌 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 鲁远凌 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Swallow in the 77th minute of play. Dunmow's Julian Grabski got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Grabski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ged Deacon came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Grabski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 83rd minute. 88 minutes into the game, Karl Blakewell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Ged Deacon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute, Vincent Moyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Grabski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ged Deacon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Larry Lawton's late challenge caught a Dunmow's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Larry Lawton helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dunmow booed when Gedling United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larry Lawton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Grabski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ged Deacon having to interfere. When the match was over Dunmow could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gedling United throughout the match.
