An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Woodhall in the 26th minute of play forced Chapel en le frith's goalkeeper Bradley Cheesman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guy Milton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Marc Featherstone when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Guy Milton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Marc Featherstone made a huge save. Chapel en le frith's Bradley Cheesman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giles Seward in the 32nd minute of play. Giles Seward sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shaun Rothwell was the one to do the kick off. Marc Featherstone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shaun Rothwell in the 88th minute of the match. Shaun Rothwell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joseph Woodhall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
