Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joe Herring ran back to his position shaking his head. After 38 played minutes FC Soldeu got a freekick which was hit by Gary Delaney. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joe Herring in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alf Ploughman saved FC Soldeu from getting behind. Alf Ploughman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Herring in the 45th minute of play. Benjamin Blakeley hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joe Herring to strike the kick off in the second half. Lance Fairfax struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. In the 64th minute, Lance Fairfax got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Joe Herring's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alf Ploughman was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Joe Herring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alf Ploughman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Lance Fairfax cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Alf Ploughman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Florentin Gougeon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 87thth minute of the game Joe Herring who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Soldeu's Alf Ploughman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Joe Herring notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of FC Soldeu's Alf Ploughman. Alf Ploughman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alf Ploughman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lance Fairfax in the 95th minute of play.
