Erasmo Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ethan Stiles in the 40th minute of the match. Tristan Wiss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ethan Stiles to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute Harold Tosi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhang Hong Xun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ethan Stiles, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 67 minutes into the match, Ethan Stiles notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of C.A.Talleres de Andorra's Erasmo Cavalcante. Erasmo Cavalcante was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Crispin Allison hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Halil İbrahim Yağıztekin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erasmo Cavalcante. C.A.Talleres de Andorra's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the C.A.Talleres de Andorra defense, Damien Blake kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Cavalcante. The C.A.Talleres de Andorra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Cavalcante should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that FC Shakhtar Donetsk were the better team. FC Shakhtar Donetsk's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
