An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Sobolevskyi in the 5th minute of play forced Говерла's goalkeeper Artur Kavatsiv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7thth minute of the game Viktor Sobolevskyi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Говерла's Artur Kavatsiv was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artur Kavatsiv showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yaroslav Dorogan in the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Yaroslav Dorogan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nizhyn Dynamo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaroslav Dorogan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Yaroslav Dorogan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 16 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Artur Kavatsiv was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 19thth minute of the game Yaroslav Dorogan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Говерла's Artur Kavatsiv was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Viktor Sobolevskyi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artur Kavatsiv was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Viktor Sobolevskyi took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Kavatsiv. Artur Kavatsiv dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, Nizhyn Dynamo's goalkeeper Rodion Makarenko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yakiv Stezhkovyi. Artur Kavatsiv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaroslav Dorogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Olexandr Demydenko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute Viktor Sobolevskyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Kavatsiv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pylyp Matviychuk made a kick off. Viktor Sobolevskyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Kavatsiv having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Pylyp Matviychuk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodion Makarenko was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Leonid Syrotyuk hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute Pylyp Matviychuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodion Makarenko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nizhyn Dynamo's zone, Pylyp Matviychuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodion Makarenko came out of the goal and Pylyp Matviychuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artur Kavatsiv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaroslav Dorogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yaroslav Dorogan kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Yaroslav Dorogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yakiv Stezhkovyi's late challenge caught a Nizhyn Dynamo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yakiv Stezhkovyi helped the player get up and apologised. Viktor Sobolevskyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Artur Kavatsiv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yaroslav Dorogan in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Kavatsiv saved Говерла from getting behind. The supporters of Nizhyn Dynamo booed when Говерла was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grygoriy Spivak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viktor Sobolevskyi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Artur Kavatsiv when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Yaroslav Dorogan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Говерла supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nizhyn Dynamo's performance. The match ended with a win for Nizhyn Dynamo.
