In the 10th minute, Yevgen Viter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th match minute, Kivsharivka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsen Kulyk to maneuver through the defense. Nazariy Bondarenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodion Makoviy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Demjan Yesin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Yevgen Viter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yevgen Viter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Demjan Yesin having to make a save. 43 minutes into the game, Yaroslav Boudianski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Volyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kivsharivka the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Yaroslav Boudianski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demjan Yesin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yevgen Viter in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The referee gave Yaroslav Boudianski a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 88 minutes into the match, FC Volyn's goal looked a bit too open when Lev Novytskyi came free, but Demjan Yesin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Lev Novytskyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demjan Yesin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lev Novytskyi struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Demjan Yesin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kivsharivka. 96 minutes into the match, FC Volyn's goal looked a bit too open when Yevgen Viter came free, but Demjan Yesin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Volyn's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
