In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dniprodzerzhynsjk FC Arsenal's goalkeeper Yarema Gabovda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in НИКА's zone, Dmytro Vonsyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonid Kavinskyi came out of the goal and Dmytro Vonsyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Stanislav Rysan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislav Rysan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Leonid Kavinskyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pylyp Gumenyuk struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Yarema Gabovda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for НИКА. The nice shot from Dmytro Vonsyk in the 25thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Leonid Kavinskyi had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Leonid Kavinskyi came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Dniprodzerzhynsjk FC Arsenal's Dmytro Vonsyk. But to his dismay, Dmytro Vonsyk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svyatoslav Zabransjkyi in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yarema Gabovda saved Dniprodzerzhynsjk FC Arsenal from getting behind. Pylyp Gumenyuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Yarema Gabovda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Stanislav Rysan came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Dniprodzerzhynsjk FC Arsenal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislav Rysan couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Dmytro Vonsyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonid Kavinskyi was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 45th match minute, НИКА was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentyn Bulakh to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Stanislav Rysan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonid Kavinskyi. That made the score 2-0 in the 46 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stanislav Rysan to strike the kick off in the second half. НИКА were furious when Stanislav Raschyk was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Dniprodzerzhynsjk FC Arsenal. Yuriy Doroshenko stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonid Kavinskyi. 3-0. Leonid Kavinskyi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dmytro Vonsyk's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the НИКА defense, Stanislav Rysan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonid Kavinskyi. The НИКА fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonid Kavinskyi should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the match, НИКА's Pylyp Gumenyuk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yarema Gabovda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pylyp Gumenyuk in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yarema Gabovda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Stanislav Rysan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonid Kavinskyi was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Marjan Kilikevych's late challenge caught a НИКА's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marjan Kilikevych helped the player get up and apologised. After 88 played minutes Dniprodzerzhynsjk FC Arsenal got a freekick which was hit by Marjan Kilikevych. If Stanislav Rysan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the game, Dniprodzerzhynsjk FC Arsenal's Dmytro Vonsyk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonid Kavinskyi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When Yevgen Vorona fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored НИКА's protests and gave Yevgen Vorona a yellow card for diving instead. Dmytro Vonsyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonid Kavinskyi having to interfere. Dniprodzerzhynsjk FC Arsenal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of НИКА for a fine match.
