Lyubomyr Martynyuk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gennadiy Kolomiets in the 17th minute. Roman Kachan hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Pylyp Yakovenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lyubomyr Martynyuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olexandr Dychko kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Stepan Yezerskiy sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Kiev-City's Lyubomyr Martynyuk didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pylyp Yakovenko in the 26th minute of play forced FC Kiev-City's goalkeeper Lyubomyr Martynyuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gennadiy Kolomiets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tymofiy Bondar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pylyp Yakovenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyubomyr Martynyuk having to interfere. Olexandr Goshkoderya hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Gennadiy Kolomiets could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Lyubomyr Martynyuk however easily saved by the left post. In the 42nd minute, Kostopilj's Pylyp Yakovenko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pavlo Pisotskyi was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Kostopilj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Volodjko to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kiev-City's zone, Gennadiy Kolomiets stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lyubomyr Martynyuk came out of the goal and Gennadiy Kolomiets tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kostopilj's goalkeeper Symon Shtanjko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gennadiy Kolomiets struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Lyubomyr Martynyuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kostopilj. Lyubomyr Martynyuk came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Kostopilj's Gennadiy Kolomiets. But to his dismay, Gennadiy Kolomiets quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Lyubomyr Martynyuk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gennadiy Kolomiets went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the match, FC Kiev-City's goal looked a bit too open when Pylyp Yakovenko came free, but Lyubomyr Martynyuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pylyp Yakovenko in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lyubomyr Martynyuk saved FC Kiev-City from getting behind. If Gennadiy Kolomiets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pylyp Yakovenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Lyubomyr Martynyuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kostopilj walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
