Mykola Gitchenko was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Viorel Dorlea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Viorel Dorlea really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olgierd Kostka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Olgierd Kostka put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Mykola Gitchenko. Geraldo Candido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mykola Gitchenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mykola Gitchenko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olgierd Kostka's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Dorlea in the 58th minute of play forced Krasnyj Liman's goalkeeper Mykola Gitchenko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olgierd Kostka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mykola Gitchenko having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ̷P̷ ̷H̷ ̷O̷ ̷B̷ ̷I̷ A̷'s Ignacy Beninda was substituted for Geraldo Candido. 76 minutes into the match, Olgierd Kostka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mykola Gitchenko. Krasnyj Liman's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olgierd Kostka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After some careless play in the Krasnyj Liman defense, Matviy Revut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mykola Gitchenko. The Krasnyj Liman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mykola Gitchenko should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Olgierd Kostka managed to get in a good position for a shot. ̷P̷ ̷H̷ ̷O̷ ̷B̷ ̷I̷ A̷'s supporters rose to their feet, but Olgierd Kostka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mykola Gitchenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ̷P̷ ̷H̷ ̷O̷ ̷B̷ ̷I̷ A̷ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
