Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 5) An unexpectedly hard shot by Platon Tarnovskyi in the 3rd minute of play forced Poltava Naftovyk's goalkeeper Yakiv Zbarakh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Volodymyr Zhyvyi fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poltava Naftovyk's protests and gave Volodymyr Zhyvyi a yellow card for diving instead. Stanislav Lubenets scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ruslan Lytvyn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yakiv Zbarakh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Platon Tarnovskyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Poltava Naftovyk's Leonid Shandruk got a free kick in the 38th minute. Tykhon Shkred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ruslan Lytvyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stanislav Lubenets made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Volodymyr Zhyvyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Platon Tarnovskyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yakiv Zbarakh having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Tykhon Shkred managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poltava Naftovyk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tykhon Shkred was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, The Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Tykhon Shkred came free, but Ruslan Lytvyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arkhyp Bashlay fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Mean Machine's protests and gave Arkhyp Bashlay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Arkhyp Bashlay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Tykhon Shkred put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ruslan Lytvyn.
