Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zakhar Borysiv started the match with the kick off. Saky's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Lyubomyr Hlus scored to the left of an out of position Viktor Zapoyasko, making the score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Saky's goalkeeper Viktor Zapoyasko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vasyl Nalygach. Evpatorija's Lyubomyr Hlus managed to work through Saky's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lyubomyr Hlus dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 16 minutes, Vasyl Nalygach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Evpatorija and the Saky players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Evpatorija getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Vasyl Nalygach hit a great ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Zakhar Borysiv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zakhar Borysiv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodion Gunchak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svyatoslav Galun having to interfere. Rodion Gunchak struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Svyatoslav Galun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saky. If Vasyl Nalygach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Saky's zone, Lyubomyr Hlus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktor Zapoyasko came out of the goal and Lyubomyr Hlus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, Zakhar Borysiv had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Svyatoslav Galun. Evpatorija's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zakhar Borysiv was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Vasyl Nalygach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Viktor Zapoyasko made a huge save. If Rodion Gunchak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Lyubomyr Hlus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Evpatorija's supporters rose to their feet, but Lyubomyr Hlus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Zapoyasko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lyubomyr Hlus to strike the kick off in the second half. Viktor Zapoyasko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Yatsyk in the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, one of Saky:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Viktor Zapoyasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasyl Nalygach, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Rodion Gunchak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svyatoslav Galun having to interfere. Rodion Gunchak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Svyatoslav Galun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zakhar Borysiv blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Svyatoslav Galun having to make a save. Lyubomyr Hlus kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Svyatoslav Galun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zakhar Borysiv's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Vasyl Nalygach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
