The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pavlo Pavleschuk came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jaremtscha FC Stalj's Valentyn Rudyi. But to his dismay, Valentyn Rudyi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kostjantynivka's Pavlo Pavleschuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Burjakiv in the 6th minute of play. Roman Burjakiv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlo Pavleschuk having to interfere. Pavlo Pavleschuk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Burjakiv in the 13th minute. After 18 minutes Kostjantynivka's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anton Dobryanskiy who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Jaremtscha FC Stalj's Igor Sachko getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Valentyn Rudyi struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Pavlo Pavleschuk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaremtscha FC Stalj. After a rather tough play, Kostjantynivka's Platon Kuzyk got a free kick in the 20th minute. Valentyn Rudyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Pavlo Pavleschuk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaremtscha FC Stalj's Roman Burjakiv got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentyn Rudyi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pavlo Pavleschuk having to make a save. Pavlo Pavleschuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Burjakiv, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Pavlo Pavleschuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Burjakiv in the 39th minute of play. Pylyp Gunchak kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Jaremtscha FC Stalj getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Oleg Viter hit a great ball. 2-0 became the score in the 46th minute when Roman Burjakiv elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Panas Kryvovyazyi made the kick off in the second half. Valentyn Rudyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlo Pavleschuk having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jaremtscha FC Stalj had played much better football throughout.
