The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olexandr Batrachenko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes of play, Izmaïl FC Shakhtar's Matviy Chuchman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yarema Scherbyna was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Vyacheslav Pyvovarenko came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Čortkiv FK Shakhtar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vyacheslav Pyvovarenko couldn't finish the play. Rodion Khalyavka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodion Khalyavka might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yarema Scherbyna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodion Khalyavka ran back to his position shaking his head. Myroslav Bagnyuk kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
