In the 4th minute Orest Samborskyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rostyslav Kovtun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orest Samborskyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Rostyslav Kovtun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Novyj Rozdil Helios's Petro Komisarenko got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 12th minute Orest Samborskyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rostyslav Kovtun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Denys Tsernienko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Novyj Rozdil Helios! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanislav Grechanyi during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Anton Bogatyryov fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ФК ДНІПРО's protests and gave Anton Bogatyryov a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ФК ДНІПРО getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Anton Bogatyryov hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes, Novyj Rozdil Helios's Matviy Chernyshenko shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matviy Rakytskyi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Novyj Rozdil Helios reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Novyj Rozdil Helios's zone, Denys Tsernienko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rostyslav Kovtun came out of the goal and Denys Tsernienko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Platon Danylovskyi kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orest Samborskyi made a kick off. Novyj Rozdil Helios's Rostyslav Kovtun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orest Samborskyi in the 52nd minute of play. Novyj Rozdil Helios's Vyacheslav Pavlyuchenko got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Myroslav Negara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matviy Rakytskyi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Taras Syvukha. Grygoriy Volodsjkyi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Novyj Rozdil Helios's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Orest Samborskyi might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rostyslav Kovtun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orest Samborskyi ran back to his position shaking his head. Grygoriy Volodsjkyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matviy Rakytskyi having to interfere. Vyacheslav Pavlyuchenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Matviy Rakytskyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vyacheslav Pavlyuchenko got free with Matviy Rakytskyi in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grygoriy Volodsjkyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Matviy Rakytskyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Grygoriy Volodsjkyi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Matviy Rakytskyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grygoriy Volodsjkyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
