Artem Zhak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vasyl Masnyi having to interfere. Znamjanka's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Yevgen Kostenko 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 36th match minute, Bolhrad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxym Platon to maneuver through the defense. When Myroslav Zaburdaylo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Znamjanka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Myroslav Zaburdaylo couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yevgen Yurchenko in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mykola Bazhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolhrad's goalkeeper Mykola Bazhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42ndth minute of the game Myroslav Zaburdaylo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolhrad's Mykola Bazhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Znamjanka getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Marko Verkhovod hit a great ball. Myroslav Zaburdaylo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Marko Verkhovod's late challenge caught a Bolhrad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marko Verkhovod helped the player get up and apologised. Marko Verkhovod hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The Znamjanka fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Znamjanka's Yevgen Yurchenko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vasyl Masnyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artem Zhak in the 91st minute of play. After 93 minutes of play, Znamjanka's Myroslav Zaburdaylo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mykola Bazhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Znamjanka supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Znamjanka would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
