Kyrylo Gerasymenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodion Kucherevskyi having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Konotop's Eduard Blokhin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Kyrylo Gerasymenko came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Konotop fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kyrylo Gerasymenko couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Fadıl Seciye got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Perekytnyi kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Konotop's Roman Perekytnyi got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Roman Perekytnyi off the ground. The supporters of Zelenyj Yar booed when Konotop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Perekytnyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodion Kucherevskyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denys Batrachenko in the 32nd minute of the match. When Fadıl Seciye, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 43 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marjan Yatsyk was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyrylo Gerasymenko was the one to do the kick off. Bogdan Brotskyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marjan Yatsyk having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Mykyta Lemishevskyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mykyta Lemishevskyi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marjan Yatsyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Konotop was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Blokhin to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fadıl Seciye in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marjan Yatsyk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kyrylo Gerasymenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rodion Kucherevskyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fadıl Seciye during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Eduard Blokhin fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Konotop's protests and gave Eduard Blokhin a yellow card for diving instead. Eduard Blokhin hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Mykyta Lemishevskyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zelenyj Yar's Mykyta Lemishevskyi got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Konotop were victorious despite being under pressure from Zelenyj Yar for much of the match.
