Spectators: 9209 (Terracing: 6909, Seating: 2117, VIP seats: 183) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emil Veenema kicked off to start the match. With splendid footwork Artem Kozlyuk arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 4th minute. Marvin Salamanca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxym Kozhemyachenko having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Emil Veenema cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Maxym Kozhemyachenko was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. César Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxym Kozhemyachenko having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, FC Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Artem Kozlyuk came free, but Mykhaylo Lelyuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Balaklija's zone, Emil Veenema stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxym Kozhemyachenko came out of the goal and Emil Veenema tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Balaklija's Demjan Sautin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the game, FC Lviv's César Sampaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxym Kozhemyachenko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Balaklija's Maxym Kozhemyachenko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Veenema in the 41st minute of play. When Marvin Salamanca came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the FC Lviv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marvin Salamanca couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anatoliy Rukavytsya made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Francisco de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute, Illja Petrenko sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Lviv's Mykhaylo Lelyuk didn't even have to move. Marvin Salamanca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Maxym Kozhemyachenko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emil Veenema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Artem Kozlyuk sped through FC Lviv's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mykhaylo Lelyuk. After a rather tough play, Balaklija's Anatoliy Rukavytsya got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Emil Veenema managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Lviv's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Veenema was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxym Kozhemyachenko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. César Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Veenema was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of FC Lviv booed when Balaklija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Illja Petrenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Veenema might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxym Kozhemyachenko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emil Veenema ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Lviv's Mykhaylo Lelyuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anatoliy Rukavytsya in the 96th minute of play. FC Lviv played a much better game than Balaklija and deserved their victory. The Balaklija players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
