Spectators: 9284 (Terracing: 6965, Seating: 2135, VIP seats: 184) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alexander Pasquarelli kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexander Pasquarelli in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Nastasio saved Kyiv from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Kyiv's Demjan Pichkur got a free kick in the 8th minute. Siro Nastasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Pasquarelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CSKA were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Kyiv's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ostap Babych took the corner. The corner ended in Ostap Babych almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kyiv's Siro Nastasio did a great save. 13 minutes into the match, Kyiv's Yuriy Starostyak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Omar Lauren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carl Ancelotti took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Nastasio. Siro Nastasio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 18 minutes, Alexander Pasquarelli made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kyiv's Siro Nastasio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthew Leach to strike the kick off in the second half. Alexander Pasquarelli succeeded in the game's 52nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Siro Nastasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Pasquarelli in the 59th minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Alexander Pasquarelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kyiv's Siro Nastasio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexander Pasquarelli in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Nastasio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Siro Nastasio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Ancelotti's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Ancelotti in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Nastasio saved Kyiv from getting behind. In the 68th minute Alexander Pasquarelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Nastasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valeriy Dyachenko might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Nastasio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valeriy Dyachenko ran back to his position shaking his head. Siro Nastasio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Pasquarelli went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. If Carl Ancelotti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the match, CSKA's Alexander Pasquarelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Siro Nastasio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cyryl Mojsiewicz's late challenge caught a CSKA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Matthew Leach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Leopoldo Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, CSKA's goal looked a bit too open when Demjan Pichkur came free, but Omar Lauren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Many of Kyiv's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Kyiv may have spent more time on the ball, but CSKA were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
