Spectators: 9254 (Terracing: 6942, Seating: 2128, VIP seats: 184) Sambir GYE's Maxym Husin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Maxym Husin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Matthew Leach kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matviy Grebenyuk. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Sambir GYE's goal looked a bit too open when Demjan Protsyk came free, but Matviy Grebenyuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siro Nastasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxym Husin, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Demjan Migashko shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siro Nastasio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Demjan Protsyk recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Matviy Grebenyuk. Demjan Protsyk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Matviy Grebenyuk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthew Leach in the 20th minute. Sambir GYE's Matviy Grebenyuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demjan Protsyk in the 21st minute of play. Matviy Grebenyuk was a little too slow when Matthew Leach got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 3-0. 30 minutes into the match, Demjan Protsyk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Matviy Grebenyuk, 4-0. In the 37th minute, Kyiv's Matthew Leach ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matviy Grebenyuk. Matviy Grebenyuk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. The supporters of Kyiv booed when Sambir GYE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Akymenko didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Sambir GYE's goalkeeper Matviy Grebenyuk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthew Leach. Demjan Migashko's late challenge caught a Kyiv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Demjan Migashko helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sambir GYE's Demjan Migashko got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthew Leach to strike the kick off in the second half. Matviy Grebenyuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Mazepa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With 55 minutes on the clock, Stepan Sernetskyi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After recieving a nice pass, Kyiv's Demjan Pichkur tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Matviy Grebenyuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demjan Protsyk in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Mazepa in the 63rd minute of play forced Sambir GYE's goalkeeper Matviy Grebenyuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matviy Grebenyuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demjan Protsyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matviy Grebenyuk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Mazepa in the 72nd minute of the match. Demjan Migashko kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Kyiv's Platon Medvid was substituted for Yuriy Starostyak. After a rather tough play, Sambir GYE's Demjan Migashko got a free kick in the 75th minute. Matviy Grebenyuk came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kyiv's Matthew Leach. But to his dismay, Matthew Leach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. After 85 minutes of play, Kyiv's Demjan Protsyk made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matviy Grebenyuk was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Kyiv's Siro Nastasio got control of the ball when Maxym Husin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Sambir GYE defense, Demjan Protsyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matviy Grebenyuk. The Sambir GYE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matviy Grebenyuk should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Kyiv players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
