Danylo Gay's late challenge caught a Kremenchuk FC Zoria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danylo Gay helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kremenec's Danylo Gay got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute Tim Granerud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 김 요 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marko Gaydamaka struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Randolf Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kremenchuk FC Zoria.

The referee ignored Kremenchuk FC Zoria's protests and gave Marko Shalivskyi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, Kremenchuk FC Zoria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Shalivskyi to maneuver through the defense. Zakhar Balanchuk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 김 요 having to make a save. Zakhar Balanchuk really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Kremenec made a substitution. Yuriy Arsenyuk replaced Ostap Misyaylo. After 76 minutes of play, Kremenec's Tim Granerud made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 김 요 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kremenec's Mykhaylo Davydenko was substituted for Zakhar Balanchuk. Mykhaylo Davydenko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 88 minutes into the game, Kremenec's Mykhaylo Davydenko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 김 요 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Kremenec's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
