Ciftlik's Murathan Polathan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necmi Hürsel in the 5th minute of play. Münir Canfer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saltuk Ramazan might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Atay Özsel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saltuk Ramazan ran back to his position shaking his head. Türkeş Özpolat came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Atay Özsel could save by the left post. Saltuk Ramazan struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Atay Özsel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ciftlik. Murathan Polathan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa İzzet Orak, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ciftlik's Saltuk Ramazan got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Türkeş Özpolat got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 28th minute, Ciftlik's Saltuk Ramazan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Atay Özsel. Atay Özsel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Atay Özsel made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Türkeş Özpolat sent off a good shot on target. Samet Erentürk kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Mustafa İzzet Orak fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALATASARAY's protests and gave Mustafa İzzet Orak a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Mustafa İzzet Orak hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Saltuk Ramazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atay Özsel having to interfere. In the 70th minute Necmi Hürsel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murathan Polathan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atay Özsel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saltuk Ramazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Türkeş Özpolat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Atay Özsel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atay Özsel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türkeş Özpolat, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Necmi Hürsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atay Özsel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Türkeş Özpolat in the 92nd minute of play. Ciftlik's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Münir Canfer scored to the left of an out of position Murathan Polathan, making the score, 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
