Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kartal İslamoğlu started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Fikirtepe got a freekick which was hit by Güralp Cangiray. In the 4th minute, Nuratay Ağar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Mazidagi JK's Batu Serdengeçti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bahtiyar Erbaş. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kartal İslamoğlu in the 12th minute of play forced Mazidagi JK's goalkeeper Baysal Toygar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kartal İslamoğlu in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baysal Toygar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mazidagi JK getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Basri Oker hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mazidagi JK's zone, Atilla Tarkan Yengi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baysal Toygar came out of the goal and Atilla Tarkan Yengi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baysal Toygar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilla Tarkan Yengi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Tarkan Yengi in the 26th minute of play forced Mazidagi JK's goalkeeper Baysal Toygar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baysal Toygar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atilla Tarkan Yengi went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Kartal İslamoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Baysal Toygar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Kartal İslamoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baysal Toygar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fikirtepe's Atilla Tarkan Yengi got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute Batu Serdengeçti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahtiyar Erbaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Batu Serdengeçti to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Kamuran Buyrukalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fikirtepe and the Mazidagi JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Fikirtepe got a freekick which was hit by Kamuran Buyrukalp. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Kartal İslamoğlu put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Baysal Toygar. Baysal Toygar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilla Tarkan Yengi in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Mazidagi JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kartal İslamoğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Kartal İslamoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anıl Ozan Kızıl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahtiyar Erbaş having to interfere. Nuratay Ağar hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Anıl Ozan Kızıl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atilla Tarkan Yengi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baysal Toygar having to interfere. Baysal Toygar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kartal İslamoğlu in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kartal İslamoğlu in the 84th minute of play forced Mazidagi JK's goalkeeper Baysal Toygar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Kartal İslamoğlu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 90th match minute, Mazidagi JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayri Rical to maneuver through the defense. Baysal Toygar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cihan Burçhan. Fikirtepe's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
