Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Battal Ongar started the match with the kick off. After 10 minutes of play, Ödemis SK's Bedirhan Asır made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hafız Özdel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aktaç Akabe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Hafız Özdel made a huge save. In the 15th minute, Kerim Tufan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Besni's Hafız Özdel got control of the ball when Yağızhan Özay tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 18th minute Erdinç Kavaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hafız Özdel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Yağızhan Özay in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Besni's Nurtekin Özbas. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Erdinç Kavaş took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Hafız Özdel to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Battal Ongar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Besni's supporters rose to their feet, but Battal Ongar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deniz Suer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Muhittin Doğan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Hafız Özdel made a huge save. Hafız Özdel made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Aktaç Akabe sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute Mehmet Şefik Onay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hafız Özdel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ödemis SK's Bedirhan Asır got a free kick in the 34th minute. A collision led to Ödemis SK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Mehmet Şefik Onay hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, Besni's Battal Ongar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Deniz Suer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 43 minutes into the match, Besni's goalkeeper Hafız Özdel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muhittin Doğan. Nurtekin Özbas's late challenge caught a Ödemis SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nurtekin Özbas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Besni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nurtekin Özbas to maneuver through the defense. Hafız Özdel was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Mehmet Şefik Onay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mehmet Şefik Onay really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Erdinç Kavaş made the kick off in the second half. Deniz Suer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Battal Ongar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Battal Ongar struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Deniz Suer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Besni. 61 minutes into the match, Saruhan Özgeer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Deniz Suer. Ödemis SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saruhan Özgeer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 65th minute, Battal Ongar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Besni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. In the 70th match minute, Ödemis SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erdinç Kavaş to maneuver through the defense. Battal Ongar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deniz Suer having to interfere. When Nurtekin Özbas came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Besni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nurtekin Özbas couldn't finish the play. Besni's Hafız Özdel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Şefik Onay in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ödemis SK's zone, Battal Ongar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deniz Suer came out of the goal and Battal Ongar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saruhan Özgeer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deniz Suer having to interfere. In the 97th minute Bedirhan Asır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hafız Özdel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ödemis SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Besni had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
