Atalan Attaroğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atalan Attaroğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kıvanç İlenç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kerimhan Kutan having to interfere. Galip Tecer struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Naci Saygılı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yeni Malatyaspor. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uğuralp Numan in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naci Saygılı saved PassengeR from getting behind. PassengeR's Naci Saygılı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galip Tecer in the 12th minute of play. Yeni Malatyaspor's Uğuralp Numan got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Uğuralp Numan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Naci Saygılı. PassengeR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uğuralp Numan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Galip Tecer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Galip Tecer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Naci Saygılı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kıvanç İlenç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fethi Dadaloğlu hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

After having played for 54 minutes, Berkin Hürkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PassengeR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berkin Hürkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kıvanç İlenç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yeni Malatyaspor's Kerimhan Kutan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kıvanç İlenç in the 59th minute of play. Naci Saygılı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uğuralp Numan, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes PassengeR got a freekick which was hit by Alemdar Bakkalbaşı. The PassengeR fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when PassengeR's Berkin Hürkan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Yeni Malatyaspor's zone, Kıvanç İlenç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerimhan Kutan came out of the goal and Kıvanç İlenç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kerimhan Kutan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berkin Hürkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yağızalp Uca's late challenge caught a PassengeR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yağızalp Uca helped the player get up and apologised. Yağızalp Uca kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Uğuralp Numan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Naci Saygılı made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Galip Tecer sent off a good shot on target. Kerimhan Kutan came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by PassengeR's Kıvanç İlenç. But to his dismay, Kıvanç İlenç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Kerimhan Kutan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kıvanç İlenç, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Kerimhan Kutan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kıvanç İlenç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Yeni Malatyaspor supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Yeni Malatyaspor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
