The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Harran was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarkan Özakay to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Harran's Atilla Tanberk got control of the ball when Cevher Oğuzman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cevher Oğuzman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilla Tanberk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkin Falcıoğlu in the 10th minute of play. Bünyamin Ergener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Turan Tonguç having to interfere. With a little luck, Harran's Atilla Tanberk got control of the ball when Cevher Oğuzman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cevher Oğuzman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Atilla Tanberk made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Cevher Oğuzman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Harran's Atilla Tanberk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Harran from getting a goal against them. Atilla Tanberk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berkin Falcıoğlu in the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Berkin Falcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Berkin Falcıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilla Tanberk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes in the game, Berkin Falcıoğlu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Atilla Tanberk having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR's Berkin Falcıoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Atilla Tanberk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ümit Yaruk came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Atilla Tanberk could save by the left post. 2-0 became the score in the 48th minute when Berkin Falcıoğlu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cevher Oğuzman was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cevher Oğuzman managed to get in a good position for a shot. KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Cevher Oğuzman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilla Tanberk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Harran booed when KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balaban Mürşit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kağan Özakay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ahmet Turan Tonguç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Ümit Yaruk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 67 minutes of play, KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR's Cevher Oğuzman made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilla Tanberk was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Berkin Falcıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Harran's zone, Cevher Oğuzman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atilla Tanberk came out of the goal and Cevher Oğuzman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Polat Baytekin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cevher Oğuzman in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atilla Tanberk saved Harran from getting behind. Berkin Falcıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Atilla Tanberk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harran's Bünyamin Ergener got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KAHRAMANMARAŞSPOR had played much better football throughout.
