After a rather tough play, Sekerspor's İlhan Özgebay got a free kick in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Ediz Tankan in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feyzullay Taybars saved Sekerspor from getting behind. Feyzullay Taybars didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Ediz Tankan went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Feyzullay Taybars was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Mehmet Ediz Tankan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mehmet Ediz Tankan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 29 played minutes Sekerspor got a freekick which was hit by Çelik Abide. After a rather tough play, Sekerspor's Atacan Vefakar got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 41st minute Atacan Vefakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Sedat Balkar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Muhittin Menderes was the one to do the kick off. If Atay Kocay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Ediz Tankan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Feyzullay Taybars tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atay Kocay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feyzullay Taybars having to make a save. After having played for 66 minutes, Mehmet Ediz Tankan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manisa SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Ediz Tankan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mehdi Başok fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manisa SK's protests and gave Mehdi Başok a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Manisa SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Başok to maneuver through the defense. Atacan Vefakar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ahmet Sedat Balkar made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yakut Kurumer during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
