Serter Tacir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Feyzullay Taybars tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sekerspor booed when OTTOMAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Recep Tayyip Karin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abbas Zikri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mürsel Uzma. OTTOMAN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yakut Kurumer got free with Mürsel Uzma in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feyzullay Taybars showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Jerrold, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When Epifanio Jerrold, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 31 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Feyzullay Taybars was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Epifanio Jerrold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feyzullay Taybars made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serter Tacir in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Teofilo Koldobika cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Feyzullay Taybars was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half OTTOMAN were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Muhittin Menderes to make the kick off. In the 53rd play minute Serter Tacir came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Feyzullay Taybars. 1-3. Atacan Vefakar struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Mürsel Uzma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sekerspor. In the 63rd minute Yakut Kurumer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mürsel Uzma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Jerrold did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Feyzullay Taybars 68 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as OTTOMAN's Epifanio Jerrold slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Feyzullay Taybars. That made the score 1-6 after 72 minutes of play. OTTOMAN were furious when Alaaddin Yaver was red carded, 77 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in OTTOMAN fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! 81 minutes into the game, Sekerspor's Yakut Kurumer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mürsel Uzma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. If Teofilo Koldobika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Epifanio Jerrold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feyzullay Taybars read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Feyzullay Taybars came out of the goal and Epifanio Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
