Barışcan Toprak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Servet Unan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Akil Varol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Okan Türe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Dumlupinar FK's goal looked a bit too open when Servet Unan came free, but Köksal Remzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barışcan Toprak in the 25th minute of play forced Dumlupinar FK's goalkeeper Köksal Remzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Dumlupinar FK defense, Servet Unan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Köksal Remzi. The Dumlupinar FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Köksal Remzi should have stopped the shot. If Akil Varol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Akil Varol got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aydemir Ilgın hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Aydemir Ilgın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dumlupinar FK's Akil Varol got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aydemir Ilgın got free with Okan Türe in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aydemir Ilgın could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Okan Türe made a huge save. Akil Varol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Okan Türe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Dumlupinar FK fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Dumlupinar FK's Aydemir Ilgın looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GalatasaraySporKlubü! The referee gave Dumlupinar FK a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ertuğrul Temizsan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GalatasaraySporKlubü's Okan Türe. 3-1. 57 minutes into the match, GalatasaraySporKlubü's goal looked a bit too open when Akil Varol came free, but Okan Türe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GalatasaraySporKlubü's Barışcan Toprak got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aydemir Ilgın might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Okan Türe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aydemir Ilgın ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of GalatasaraySporKlubü booed when Dumlupinar FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aydemir Ilgın didn't get a good kick on the ball. Okan Türe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aydemir Ilgın's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Akil Varol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aydemir Ilgın in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Okan Türe saved GalatasaraySporKlubü from getting behind. Şentürk Öveç hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Aydemir Ilgın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 4-1 became the score in the 80th minute when Akil Varol elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, GalatasaraySporKlubü's goal looked a bit too open when Aydemir Ilgın came free, but Okan Türe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dumlupinar FK's Akil Varol in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GalatasaraySporKlubü's goalie prevented a goal. Servet Unan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Köksal Remzi having to interfere. With a little luck, Dumlupinar FK's Köksal Remzi got control of the ball when Barışcan Toprak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aydemir Ilgın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Dumlupinar FK were the better team. Dumlupinar FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
