Tayfun Devrim took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reşat Erozan. Reşat Erozan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. GRAY WOLVES's Reşat Erozan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayfun Devrim in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the GRAY WOLVES defense, Durmuş Burçak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reşat Erozan. The GRAY WOLVES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reşat Erozan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saffet Seza in the 18th minute of play forced GRAY WOLVES's goalkeeper Reşat Erozan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rıza Zati hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Kadri Okman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cem Irmak skillfully saved the ball. Tayfun Devrim might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reşat Erozan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tayfun Devrim ran back to his position shaking his head. Özcan Öğeturk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute of the match, Pars Barbaros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cem Irmak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cem Irmak was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Özcan Öğeturk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Özcan Öğeturk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Çağan Şinas kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Reşat Erozan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durmuş Burçak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mustafa Hakan Lokman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pars Barbaros made a kick off. Reşat Erozan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tayfun Devrim in the 53rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Saffet Seza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hopa's supporters rose to their feet, but Saffet Seza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reşat Erozan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Durmuş Burçak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reşat Erozan was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Tayfun Devrim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reşat Erozan having to make a save. 79 minutes into the match, GRAY WOLVES's goal looked a bit too open when Saffet Seza came free, but Reşat Erozan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Durmuş Burçak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hopa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durmuş Burçak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saffet Seza in the 81st minute of play forced GRAY WOLVES's goalkeeper Reşat Erozan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GRAY WOLVES's Reşat Erozan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulvi Uğurlubey in the 85th minute of play. GRAY WOLVES's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Tayfun Devrim scored to the left of an out of position Reşat Erozan, making the score, 1-3. Reşat Erozan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saffet Seza in the 92nd minute. Hayyam Haşmetli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Reşat Erozan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ant Cesur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute.
