Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Baysal Beren took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute Yozgat were awarded a corner. Zekai Tokuşhan went to the cornerflag to take it. Zekai Tokuşhan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Abdulbaki Ankaralı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Erdem Tumbay in the 24th minute of the match. Zeynel Uzalp hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When Ahmet Erdem Tumbay came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Yozgat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Erdem Tumbay couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Bayram Hızlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gürhan Saygılı came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Yozgat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gürhan Saygılı couldn't finish the play. Baysal Beren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zikri Arısoy having to make a save. In the 44th match minute, Yozgat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeynel Uzalp to maneuver through the defense. Gazanfer Atasagun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Zikri Arısoy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Zikri Arısoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baysal Beren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Yozgat booed when Espiye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bayram Hızlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zekai Tokuşhan missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 56 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Abdulbaki Ankaralı right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ahmet Erdem Tumbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yozgat's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Erdem Tumbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdulbaki Ankaralı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Gürhan Saygılı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdulbaki Ankaralı was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Abdulbaki Ankaralı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürhan Saygılı, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, one of Espiye:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Espiye. The goalkeeper, Abdulbaki Ankaralı, was totally fooled by Yozgat's Zekai Tokuşhan, who 64 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Zikri Arısoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baysal Beren in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 78th minute Gürhan Saygılı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulbaki Ankaralı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Espiye's Özdemir Tur got a free kick in the 85th minute. Abdulbaki Ankaralı was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zekai Tokuşhan. Kamuran Ulusan hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Gürhan Saygılı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 98 minutes into the match, Espiye's Gazanfer Atasagun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zikri Arısoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Espiye fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Yozgat were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
