Tibet Yaygır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Levent Akova, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 17th minute, Burhanettin Vatansever got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Kizilay's goal looked a bit too open when Levent Akova came free, but Tibet Yaygır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Abdülhak Sertel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Levent Akova in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tibet Yaygır prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nuralp Üstün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Kizilay's goal looked a bit too open when Levent Akova came free, but Tibet Yaygır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes, Tuncay Özbilgin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kizilay and the Hakkari players grew even worse after the yellow card. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Abdülhak Sertel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şehzade Diriğ having to interfere. The supporters of Kizilay booed when Hakkari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürkan Köksal didn't get a good kick on the ball.
