Çelik SPOR's Olgun Yazgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baran Özgun in the 29th minute of play. İlmi Tümkut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Hoffmann in the 30th minute of the match. İlmi Tümkut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo José Garcia's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo José Garcia in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İlmi Tümkut saved Bahce SK from getting behind. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Paulo José Garcia sped through Bahce SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of İlmi Tümkut. Rasim Hattat charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rasim Hattat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Paulo José Garcia made the kick off in the second half. When Çelik SPOR's Paulo José Garcia in 54 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. İlmi Tümkut guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo José Garcia got free with İlmi Tümkut in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Bahce SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İlmi Tümkut should have stopped the shot. The Bahce SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Çelik SPOR were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
