Baturay Necip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Emir Olcaytug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Yazihan's Nadir Sulhi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baturay Necip made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahçe's zone, Ahmet Emir Olcaytug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baturay Necip came out of the goal and Ahmet Emir Olcaytug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ahmet Emir Olcaytug had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baturay Necip stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nadir Sulhi's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Ahmet Emir Olcaytug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Yazihan's zone, Kunter Muhsin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yetkin Sökmener came out of the goal and Kunter Muhsin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Devlet Torlak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Fenerbahçe's Hakkı Devrim Özgen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yetkin Sökmener. Yetkin Sökmener yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kunter Muhsin was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Nadir Sulhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baturay Necip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nadir Sulhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes, Cavit Pekiner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fenerbahçe and the Yazihan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe's Cavit Pekiner got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Yazihan booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Devrim Özgen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Nadir Sulhi came free, but Baturay Necip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kunter Muhsin fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenerbahçe's protests and gave Kunter Muhsin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Kunter Muhsin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kunter Muhsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yetkin Sökmener having to interfere. Cavit Pekiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Yetkin Sökmener tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nadir Sulhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baturay Necip having to interfere. Ahmet Emir Olcaytug struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Baturay Necip didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yazihan. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yazihan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
