Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mümtazer Malkoç started the match with the kick off. Adem Oyal came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Kayseri Erciyesspor's Ahmet Göktuğ Bostancıoğlu. But to his dismay, Ahmet Göktuğ Bostancıoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adem Oyal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sinan Helvacı went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the game, Zeynel Tanay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kayseri Erciyesspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Erzurumspor the free kick. A collision led to Kayseri Erciyesspor getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Zeynel Tanay hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match Talha Cambaz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abayhan Beykan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hüseyin Cahit Hirfet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abayhan Beykan having to interfere. Adem Oyal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hasan Özyurt in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Erzurumspor's Şamil Demiroğlu got a free kick in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Erzurumspor's zone, Ahmet Hasan Özyurt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adem Oyal came out of the goal and Ahmet Hasan Özyurt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 32 minutes, Sinan Helvacı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kayseri Erciyesspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sinan Helvacı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Kayseri Erciyesspor's Mümtazer Malkoç in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Erzurumspor's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Sinan Helvacı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adem Oyal was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 36 played minutes Erzurumspor got a freekick which was hit by Şamil Demiroğlu. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Sinan Helvacı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kayseri Erciyesspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Sinan Helvacı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adem Oyal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kayseri Erciyesspor's Zeynel Tanay got his second yellow card of the match in the 38th minute. The referee ordered Zeynel Tanay off the ground. In the 39th match minute, Kayseri Erciyesspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeynel Tanay to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Sinan Helvacı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kayseri Erciyesspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Sinan Helvacı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Süruri Sadir was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Kayseri Erciyesspor's zone, Süruri Sadir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abayhan Beykan came out of the goal and Süruri Sadir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Ediz Derelioğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sinan Helvacı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kayseri Erciyesspor's Yücel Özbilek got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Hasan Özyurt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Adem Oyal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sinan Helvacı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adem Oyal having to interfere. Ahmet Hasan Özyurt kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Abayhan Beykan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Süruri Sadir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Yüksel Ferikoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Erzurumspor's Adem Oyal got control of the ball when Ahmet Hasan Özyurt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Erzurumspor defense, Sinan Helvacı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adem Oyal. The Erzurumspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adem Oyal should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Erzurumspor's goalkeeper Adem Oyal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Hasan Özyurt. Erzurumspor's Adem Oyal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Erzurumspor from getting a goal against them. Yücel Özbilek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Adem Oyal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yücel Özbilek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adem Oyal having to interfere. After 83 minutes, Hüseyin Cahit Hirfet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erzurumspor and the Kayseri Erciyesspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hüseyin Cahit Hirfet hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Sinan Helvacı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adem Oyal having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Yücel Özbilek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adem Oyal. Yücel Özbilek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After 90 played minutes Kayseri Erciyesspor got a freekick which was hit by Nuralp Saygılı. Abayhan Beykan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Süruri Sadir, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Sinan Helvacı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Nuralp Saygılı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kayseri Erciyesspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuralp Saygılı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kayseri Erciyesspor played a much better game than Erzurumspor and deserved their victory. The Erzurumspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
